My favorite pastime is sitting in a beach chair on the sand by the water's edge, reading my current favorite novel. I love contemporary romance, romance thrillers, mysteries, and true crime.

If you don't find me with my head stuck in a book reading, then you can find me writing or researching our next travel escapade. Although I love exploring new places and every beach I can, I stay rooted at home in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. It's the most welcoming place on earth to me.

      • Actually, I rewrote a book. Exotic Desires was previously BoyToy. It is basically the same storyline with a plot twist. I wanted to give the book more life. Of course, there is still room for improvement, as there always is with everything we do. Nothing is perfect. I feel the characters have more connections than they did before.

      • Well, I don't have a d__k to think with, so I can only imagine what or how the male character would react or how I would want them to respond. I am blessed to have a supportive husband and male best friend to bounce ideas off.

      • Oh my. I am very spontaneous. I can make plans, but I often change them. I am more of a tentative plan person. Meaning I make plans, but they are subject to change at any time. In the author world, we refer to ourselves as panster, plotter or planster. BoyToy was definitely a panster book. Nothing was planned or plotted out. Exotic Desires was more of a planster book. The overall arc was planned, but the chapter details were not. Eventually, I will be a planner.

      • In college, I had a writing assignment to describe a recurring dream. I had this dream for years, but never knew why I had it or how to stop it. I completed the assignment, writing about my dream in detail. After I finished, I never had the dream again. It's the same with writing books. Sometimes characters come to life in your imagination and dwell there, creating their own world. The only way to give them a full life is by writing their story.
