I CERTAINLY DO BELIEVE THAT PARENTS SHOULD READ TO THEIR CHILDREN.

THE FIRST MEMORY I RECALL OF A BOOK BEING READ TO ME AS A CHILD IS RIKI,TIKI TAVI.ABOUT A MONGOOSE.I WAS FASCINATED AS OUR SCHOOL TEACHER READ TO US.
Why did you choose to be a nurse instead of being a doctor?
I CHOOSE NURSING AS I AM NOT AN ACADEMIC.YOU NEED TO BE EXTREMELY BRIGHT TO GET INTO MEDICAL SCHOOL.

NO JENNY,FROM “TIMES PENDULUM SWINGS AGAIN” IS NOT BASED ON ME.HOWEVER SHE IS BASED ON SOMEONE I WORKED WITH.
What is the basic theme of the book, The Liberty Bodice?
“THE LIBERTY BODICE” IS BASED ON THE WOMEN OF SPECIAL OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE [S.O.E.] KNOWN AS CHURCHILL’S SECRET ARMY.IT IS A WW2 DRAMA. AUDIO BOOKS ARE ALSO THE FUTURE.
What challenges did you face while publishing your first novel, 'Figs, Vines and Roses'?
MY FIRST NOVEL PRESENTED SO MANY CHALLENGES.HOWEVER I HAD THE TIME TO WRITE IT AS I HAD JUST RETIRED.IT WAS NOT SO WELL WRITTEN BEING MY FIRST.AS I HAVE LEARNED SO MUCH ABOUT WRITING SINCE IT IS BEING RE-WRITTEN AND WILL BE RE-PRODUCED IN THE SPRING.
What made you decide to set 'Strawberry moon' in the Dordogne, France?
I SET “STRAWBERRY MOON” IN FRANCE AS IT IS A PLACE I LOVE TO VISIT.UNFORTUNATELY SINCE LOCKDOWN I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO GO.

I THINK THE BOOK WRITTEN BY ME I WOULD CHOOSE WOULD BE “TIMES PENDULUM SWINGS AGAIN,”BECAUSE ITS A WELL KNOW AREA FOR ME TO WRITE IN.I WAS A NURSE FOR NEARLY 50YEARS.

YES,I BELIEVE EREADS ARE THE FUTURE FOR BOOKS.
How much do you miss the times when letters came by post?
I DON’T REALLY MISS LETTER WRITING TIME,AS EMAILS ARE SO MUCH QUICKER.
