I CERTAINLY DO BELIEVE THAT PARENTS SHOULD READ TO THEIR CHILDREN.

Why did you choose to be a nurse instead of being a doctor?
I CHOOSE NURSING AS I AM NOT AN ACADEMIC.YOU NEED TO BE EXTREMELY BRIGHT TO GET INTO MEDICAL SCHOOL.

What is the basic theme of the book, The Liberty Bodice?
“THE LIBERTY BODICE” IS BASED ON THE WOMEN OF SPECIAL OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE [S.O.E.] KNOWN AS CHURCHILL’S SECRET ARMY.IT IS A WW2 DRAMA. AUDIO BOOKS ARE ALSO THE FUTURE.
What challenges did you face while publishing your first novel, 'Figs, Vines and Roses'?
MY FIRST NOVEL PRESENTED SO MANY CHALLENGES.HOWEVER I HAD THE TIME TO WRITE IT AS I HAD JUST RETIRED.IT WAS NOT SO WELL WRITTEN BEING MY FIRST.AS I HAVE LEARNED SO MUCH ABOUT WRITING SINCE IT IS BEING RE-WRITTEN AND WILL BE RE-PRODUCED IN THE SPRING.

I SET “STRAWBERRY MOON” IN FRANCE AS IT IS A PLACE I LOVE TO VISIT.UNFORTUNATELY SINCE LOCKDOWN I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO GO.

I THINK THE BOOK WRITTEN BY ME I WOULD CHOOSE WOULD BE “TIMES PENDULUM SWINGS AGAIN,”BECAUSE ITS A WELL KNOW AREA FOR ME TO WRITE IN.I WAS A NURSE FOR NEARLY 50YEARS.

YES,I BELIEVE EREADS ARE THE FUTURE FOR BOOKS.
How much do you miss the times when letters came by post?
I DON’T REALLY MISS LETTER WRITING TIME,AS EMAILS ARE SO MUCH QUICKER.
