Kate lives in the flatlands of South Lincolnshire with her partner, three very bad cats and two equally naughty horses.

When she's not riding or attempting to grow veggies as well as her late mum used to, she's glued to her keyboard, creating more obstacles for her characters to overcome, drinking gallons of Yorkshire tea, and trying her best to ignore the mountain of ironing that has taken over her laundry room
