Kimberly J Tilley (1979) lives in New Hampshire, USA where she spends most of her time tending to her family and dreaming up more art to create. Occasionally she takes a break from managing her print-on-demand shops and creating new artwork to pull together her art books. She is a nature photographer by trade but dives into other art forms too.

      • It is the dressing of the story. A good cover art and well planned title helps to draw in the potential reader.
        If you are not artistically able to create an illustration for your cover, do pay the artist you higher to do so well and provide a credit line on the title pages.

      • I personally will always prefer to read my entertainment in a sold book form, preferably hardcover. The electronic reading should allow people access to reading more often, even tho it is harsher on the eyeballs. It allows for a more simpler transportation of a book collection when people go out, travel. I just hope printing does not die off, such as film did not come to an end with the advent of the digital cameras.

      • No. As a child I did like art very much. I was good at drawing and surprised people in school with my stories, whenever we had a writing assignment. But I was not really allowed or even supported to step outside of the office box. I was just expected to graduate High School and get into a job that will pay rent. Even as an adult and showing my family my art, I do not receive any excitement from them. They see it as a waste of time, money and not at all a living money generator.
