Where were you born, and what was your childhood like?
I was born in the beautiful city of Chicago. My childhood was great, just my younger brother and I in our home, and a plethora of cousins and friends to bond with. I wouldn't ask for ask any other family.
As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up?
I always imagined that I'd become a scientist, wasn't sure which field, they all were exciting to me.

I've always been good at writing--in my earlier years mainly poems and a few short stories. I enjoyed it very much then, and it looks as if that love has carried over into adulthood 😎
When is a good time to start reading books to babies?
I believe as soon as humanly possible. The sounds and words of one's voice, especially the parents will instill/imprint a love for reading, speaking and learning within the child immediately.
Why did you decide to write the book, "What Do Babies Dream?"?
It was a short and sweet nursery poem I created a spell ago, a couple of years after the birth of my daughter.
A few years later with the help of a talented illustrator named Maurice Calloway III, I trasformed it into a cool, illustrated ebook.
What challenges did you face while putting together your digital photography book series. The Natural World Around Us?
The biggest challenge was trying to figure out which pics to use, and how to format it since it would only be in digital format.

I've always loved the planet we live on, and its many unique inhabitants. One day I just decided to buy a camera and start snapping photos--the rest is history.

My Mother has always been there for me, and always will.

Great question! Interesting and evolving characters, concise story, some mystery, action, lessons learned within, and of course twists and unexpected surprises.
Why do you enjoy poetry? What do you look for when reading poetry?
Poetry in my opinion is the soul expressing itself in the form of written and spoken language.
It's a very deep and cool art, and everyone has their own way about it, their own voice, and I respect and enjoy all poetry forms.
What’s your favorite photography book of any kind? One that you learned the most from?
Honestly, I don't have a favorite or go-to photography book, I just learn from and appreciate the beauty of the planet.
How do you choose good books for a baby?
Whew, its been awhile since I've done that.
There are tons of great books out there, but I would suggest What Do Babies Dream, and volumes 1 & 2 of the Darla and Mickey series to start out with 😉

Boxing and Martial Arts--specifically Tae Kwon Do.
