Michael Steven is an Author, Coach, Entrepreneur, and Investor. A leading authority figure in the world of business, money, finance, real estate investing, and wealth management. With over 30 years of experience, he teaches people how to get out of debt and stay out of debt, PLUS he teaches them how to become financially free in the real estate world, and with all this said, he shows them how to do it with little, or no money at all. Real estate has made him more money than he could ever have imagined, and now, he wants to give back to society. He has decided to put his experiences on paper, and started writing books so that everyone gets an opportunity to benefit from his success. He has helped thousands of people over the years to get out of debt, has helped them buy and sell properties, and guided them to their early retirement. What did you study in college? What impact did it have on your writing career?

Accounting & Finance

What are your hobbies apart from writing?

Wine collecting, gem collecting, and sports cards/memorabilia collecting. And playing hockey & football.

Who is the most supportive person in your life when it comes to your writing?

My family

How much did you research while writing your book, Financial Freedom With Real Estate?

Probably 25% since I write about personal experiences and proven facts. I’m in the Real Estate Investing World for nearly 30 years now.

What is something every reader can take away from your book, Getting Out Of Debt: Money Management?

It’s in the title, “money management.” Getting out of debt and staying out of debt is what I teach, so managing and budgeting your money is crucial before starting to build financial freedom.

What were the key challenges you faced when writing your first book?

Writing the most perfect and flawless book possible so the readers from any age could understand it.

My book designer and myself

Which option do you prefer, reading some books or watching movies adapted from them?

It depends on the topic; I enjoy both.

Is it better to self-publish or find a publisher for first-time authors?

It depends on your budget and your experience. Self-publishing is my preference.

What is the sweetest fan-mail that you have ever received?

From a 14-year old boy. My book Financial Freedom With Real Estate was the first book that he had ever bought. He told me that he was so inspired that he was going to buy the rest of my books to complete his collection so that when he turns 18, he would be ready to invest in his first property and try to become financially free before the age of 30.

Who are some lesser known authors you would recommend people to read?

Tough question; it depends on the reader’s taste and niche.

Do you hear from your readers much? What kinds of things do they say?

Yes, they congratulate me on my books and tell me that they will start using my secrets to achieve their life dreams and goals.

How many plot ideas are just waiting to be written? Can you tell us about one?

I presently have 4 books published and 2 more are in the process of being edited and formatted. If all goes according to plan, by the end of 2021 I should have about 15-18 books published in total.
