BIOGRAPHY

Michael was born in Sylvania, Ohio. A suburb of Toledo. He spent most of his adult life living in Northwest Ohio and began writing at an early age, but never thought to publish any of his works. He got a sense that his writing skill might be used to author a novel when writing campaigns for his D&D group. After several years of starting and stopping he finished his first work "The Awakening." Which is set to be the first of many novels in the Lycan War Saga.

    • Hi Michael , I am a blind author with a YA fantasy called The Heart of Applebutter Hill. I'm writing to ask if you would kindly vote for my book cover in the book cover comp? I've made it into Round 3. I am using this opportunity to raise awareness about blindness, accessibility, guide dogs and other disabilities. This novel is educator-recommended for its diversity, anti-bullying and inclusion themes. I would appreciate your help! :)

      • I think schools should offer a variety of genres for kids to read in school. So many times children lose interest in reading, not because they don't like reading, only they don't like the subject matter. Children should be encouraged to read what grabs them, not what the teacher forces them to read.

      • Going through the publishing process you learn a lot about what you need to do to be successful. How you need to promote. Even before you publish a book, you should be out there promoting.
