BIOGRAPHY

Nicole A Oliver is a Fantasy author from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. A voracious reader, Nicole has always loved becoming lost in magical realms. She loves to travel, but she believes there is no better substitute than getting lost in a book world when that's not possible. Her passion for the genre and the power of words led Nicole to aspirations of becoming an author early in her life.

Nicole, her husband, and her two biggest fans, her twin son and daughter, love to hike and always have their eyes open for magical creatures when they do. During the day, Nicole indulges her love of coffee and fuels her writing by slinging mugs of java. Her family enjoys putting their heads together over jigsaw puzzles, spending time outside, and trying out the fares of local restaurants. Nicole is a horse lover and will admit to imagining herself as a fierce warrior heading into battle whenever she is lucky enough to get to the barn.

Logical Magic is Nicole's debut novel and the first in a planned trilogy.

      • I have always loved reading. My happy place is in the bookstore or library. Stories bring colour, joy, and adventure to everyday life and I have always had lots of them lurking in the back of my mind. I started writing and thinking about writing a novel in my early twenties, stopping and starting many projects until I finally committed to publishing my first book Logical Magic many years later.
