Allow us a little peek into your life and tell us a little about your childhood and some of your childhood dreams.
I was born in Nassau, Bahamas, at 17. I graduated college at the age of 23 and started a career in tech. As a child, I always loved writing stories, But I struggled with dyslexia. I would practice getting better by writing everything down in a journal. As a teenager, I was always a hopeless romantic Capricorn; every week, I wrote about my crushes.
What Writer do you look up to and why?
I Love Amy Jarecki and Vonda Saint-Clair For Historical Romance and the Late Eric Jerome Dicky for urban romance. Which is your favorite book of yours? (Amy Jarecki – Highland Lords Series.) (Vonda Saint Clair Highlander Adventure Series.) and (Eric Jerome Dicky – Milk in my Coffee.)
What cultural value do you think reading and writing have/brings?
It provides knowledge of different ethnicities and challenges readers to think outside the box.
What encouraged you to write your first novel?
I love romance; I want to experience it and talk about it. Furthermore, I am a huge fan of period pieces, tv shows, and books. I wanted to bring my taste in these things into one book.
How did you come up with the title of your book, Bicultural?
The word Bicultural represents understanding two different cultures. In my book, I introduction on both cultures and races.
What is your writing kryptonite? Inversely, what is something that never fails to inspire you?
When writing, I envision the story as a screenplay. I love when I have a strong plot. I can spend an entire day working on chapters.
What do you love the most about writing romance novels? Do you need to know how a novel end before you begin writing it?
I love writing about suspense, heroism, and action.
In a love story. In every superhero movie, there is a love interest. In every action or suspense, there is a love interest. I believe you can combine all the elements to make a good story.
What are your techniques to improve writing?
My opening has to fill with an eye-catching prologue
How many pages do you write in a day?
I can write ten pages easily.
If you were not an author, what do you think you would be doing for a living?
I would continue working in tech.
How has being an author changed your life?
Getting exposure and speaking in public.
