Chunky, MS

What's the most important lesson you learned in school?

That not everyone has the life you have. Be kind, always.

What is Memphis, Tennessee, USA known for?

ELVIS PRESLEY! Also, amazing music and bbq

Anyone

Do you remember the first article you wrote for Elephant Journal? What was it about?

I wrote an article about my grandmother and what a force in my life she was. I used some of it in the book.

What's your best advice on writing biographies?

Put your butt in the chair, open your mind, and bleed onto the paper.

Are there any other ideas brought by your friends that you hope to incorporate into different books in the future?

I am beginning a fiction series currently. I will also write a second book to the memoir that I’m excited about writing!

What do you think readers will take away from your book, Living Without Skin?

I hope that they can know they aren’t alone when they feel weak, and find a way to reframe that feeling into strength.

What are some inspirational biographies to help one "think big"?

Oprah Winfrey. What an amazing life!

Have you ever tried making a caramel cake on your own?

Heavens, no! I prefer to hire someone much older with more experience than me to make them. 😂

Do your dogs get along with your cats?

As long as they understand she’s the boss, they get along fine.

What are the common problems that you, as a bloggers, face?

Staying current on blog posts

Why aren't more real estate professionals using video tours to market their listings?

Who knows? I feel the pandemic forced many people to utilize technology who weren’t before, and it’s a shame to see how much money could have been saved by adopting it earlier.

A new fiction thriller series!
