BIOGRAPHY

Travis Borne is a father of four fantastic kids, and is supported by his beautiful wife of more than twenty years. He’s a coder of various programming languages, creates plug-ins for graphic software, designs dynamic websites, and has been in the graphics industry for twenty years. • Nope. Didn't even like writing or reading. Coding hit the spot, and building things with my hands. It wasn't until way later, upon realizing I was able to put words in a headlock, just like I could the code. And then it became fun. Not just as, but in a different, more imaginative, outer-space, light-speed-adventure sort of way.

      • With a family of six and two dogs the size of Chewbacca, well, whenever I can. Whenever the magic strikes. I have been known to jump off my chair and jot some things in the notepad (usually when enjoying a whiskey).

      • Not a lot of it. But I've found it's the same when I used to code. When things just aren't working in the brain, hit the sack. All better in the morning!
As for writing words, same deal, just a longer rest. Sometimes give it a week or so and let the story brew inside your gray noodles. It practically writes itself!

      • Writing can be, but try to enjoy every moment. The real work comes next. Editing, and then more than all the writing and editing combined, marketing. So don't sweat the small stuff, writing, instead savor it, for next the real headache begins, marketing! Ugh! Argh!
