Casey B. (1985) was born in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, to Caribbean parents, and grew up in Brooklyn, NY. For over thirteen years she had dedicated herself to the health profession where she has been a Medical Assistant, Medical Assistant Instructor, CEO of a Medical Assistant Bootcamp, and much more. She went on to continue her education and gained her Associate, Bachelor's and is currently working on her Master of Psychology degree. Education has always been something that Casey B. has prided herself on and she has also started working on obtaining her Master of Business Administration and Doctor of Medicine degrees simultaneously. Her love of writing has always been around from her younger years. She would enter a different literary contest during school and write short stories. As she developed a greater love for writing she started to drift towards writing poetry. She noticed and kept hearing from others that they felt as though they were in the poems as they read it. She went on to publish her first book, "Phases of a Shattered Woman: The Ups, Downs and In Between" and will continue to develop her craft as an author to bring her readers more entertaining books.
