About the author

Kaye's first book, 'Running for a Cause', results from a desire to help raise funds for her nephew's chosen charity - the North of England Children's Cancer Research (NECCR) fund after his 2-year-old son was diagnosed with Leukaemia.

Following that, she soon released a children's novella, 'The Truth About Amber - When Little Fibs turn into Great Big Lies', and the highly popular 'How To' book - 'Headscarves, Headwraps & More', which were inspired by her volunteer work in Day Oncology and love of scarves!

She has several series of books including 'Sudoku for Kids' Volumes 1, 2, 3,4 and 5, following a desire to encourage children to love numbers (as any former teacher would!). She also has the 'Cornell Notes for...' series, covering everything from young Students to the Chairperson of the Board! Then came 'Room to Think - Brain Games for Kids' Books 1 2, 3 and 4, giving youngsters brains a fun workout.

Her newest offering is 'Love Lives Forever: A Story About Saying Goodbye', which is aimed at explaining the tricky subject of death, to children.

Fascinated by other people's stories, Kaye was a volunteer biographer (starting out with Palliative Care in the Home), and is a teacher of Life Story Writing. She creates printable pages for Planners and Journals and is moving with the times by learning how to produce Digital Planners too - an Inter-topical Writer and Multipotentialite!

Born in the UK, Kaye was a primary school teacher for 20 years; Deputy and Acting Headmistress, then SpEN (Special Educational Needs specialist), before moving overseas to Australia, with a then 5-year-old son.

Kaye lives in magnificent Melbourne, focusing on her family and writing. She has a weirdly lovable rescue dog - a Border-Collie named 'Amber', who loves 'her people' and long walks in the Australian shade and sunshine.
