Victoria J. Hyla (Victoria Hyla Maldonado) is the author of the Hearts Drawn Wyld trilogy as well as short stories in Young Crush; Storybook Pub 2; Tricks, Treats, and Teasers; Caught Under the Mistletoe; The Nightmare Collective, Part 2; and Foxtales 10 as well as several more that are forthcoming. She is also a children's book author (Bartleby the Brave, Miedosin el Valiente, Tears for the Butterfly, and Monstery Donstery Dock). She has been writing all her life and works as a freelance writer and editor. She lives in the western suburbs of Chicago with her husband and children.
