Susan Byrde

I grew up in Albuquerque, NM, at the foot of the Sandia Mountains in a time when kids were expected to play outside. I had a fertile imagination, a couple of friends who were equally creative, and a great yard for playing and dreaming. I still have those friends, and I still see The Crest in my dreams. These days I make my home in East Texas with my husband, my dogs, and a pair of cockatiels.
