
KRISSY is an Award-Winning Finalist of the 2023 Page Turner Awards for Best Mystery/Cozy Mystery and the 2022 Wishing Shelf Book Awards in Adult Fiction, and she was shortlisted for The Page Turner Best Cover Award in 2022 for her debut mystery novel Buried Secrets. Krissy was born and raised in Upstate New York in the charming town of Fairport, where she has taught for over 25 years. She and her husband live in Fairport, New York, and Venice, Florida. They have five children in their twenties, two dogs, and will soon be grandparents. Krissy remembers her love of reading as a young child and how she couldn’t get enough of great books such as The Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings, and The Hobbit. Her love of mystery was first revealed within the pages of From The Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler by E.L. Konigsburg and Nancy Drew’s mystery series. She mostly reads mystery, suspense, and thriller novels but also enjoys fantasy and historical fiction. Some of her favorite suspense/thriller authors are Janelle Brown, Karin Slaughter, Lisa Jewel, and Mary Kubica. Krissy has three books in her Ella Perri Mystery Series: Buried Secrets, One Last Secret, and Lies That Bind. The upcoming release of her fourth book, Moment of Truth, will be published through a Kickstarter Campaign, which launches on August 13th. Krissy has also written several short fiction thrillers. Krissy is a proud member of Sisters in Crime, Mystery Writers of America, and several online writing communities. Currently, Krissy teaches writing and reading to 5th-grade students and loves it. She shares her love of reading and writing and everything she continues to learn with her students every day. When the school day ends, the writing begins, and there is never enough time for that.
