Best-selling, multiple award winning author Sammy Stein is internationally acclaimed. Her Readers Digest articles have recieved much praise and she has been commissioned - twice- by the Library of Congress. During her stint as International editor for the Jazz Journalists Association, she encouraged new writers. Her books have received international acclaim for their honesty, integrity, and the quality of her research. She writes for major columns and has recently become jazz correspondent for the Platinum Mind column. Her connections have made Sammy one of the UK's 'go-to' authors. She curated the London Jazz Platform festival and has hosted on radio as well as written shows and series for radio and curated playlists. Her latest book 'Candid: Conversations on Women in the Music Industry' is a conversation with over forty women from classical, rock, punk and other genres and they are in different roles, from writers, musicians, to curators and DJs. Sammy's passion is music and also allowing musicians' voices to be heard.
