I was born in India of Eurasian parents. We lived a charmed but borrowed European lifestyle, attending catholic convents. I escaped my early convent life through my parents' immigration to the UK. Leaving school and college I trained as a primary school teacher, loved it, but married and had a beautiful boy. I then set up an antique textile business which led to setting up another business in design and textiles, manufacturing in China and India. China in the 1980s was the place to be for business and I continued for over 35 years. Finally transitioning into creating a further business as a Business Coach and Mentor. Having been in business for such a long time, I've gathered a great deal of experience and knowledge and want to share this knowledge. When I started, although business has the basic constructs, today's market place has changed to that of when I first started. One of the key elements I find myself coaching and mentoring in is around wellness, wel being and what it takes to be a business leader, and sustainably continue into the future. In the ensuing years of my business I studied Anthropology at Birbeck College in London and through travelling developed a passion and curiosity for global cultures. Writing diaries while I travelled eventually led to writing my first book - a memoir - Thank You for the Kiss - set in Cuba. I already have another book waiting to be finalised. www.bethjordanwriterphotographer.life
