Y. Deonna

Award-nominated indie author, Y. Deonna, is a native of South Carolina. At an early age, she discovered her love for reading and writing. As a youngster, Y. Deonna became enthralled by how authors created fascinating uplifting stories and knew she would one day do the same. It's her desire to fuse her education, faith, and advocacy to create empowering stories that engage, educate, and elevate readers. Y. Deonna has written and published nine books, (many more coming) all making the top one hundred on Amazon's African American Christian Fiction chart. Writing novels is part of her ministry and advocacy. Besides writing, she is an advocate and speaker. Y. Deonna also works with survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault survivors.
