About the author

Gold Nautilus Award winning author, T.J. (Therese) Marchitelli, is a mother, entrepreneur, caregiver, tea addict, eternal optimist, orchid wizard, natural protector, dog mom, meditator, mediator, and widow. Her husband, David Glickstein, died from a traumatic brain injury after a car accident in 1995, leaving behind Therese and their young son and daughter. There have been grave mistakes along the way, but Therese has learned from them and persevered. She now strives to support and help women, men, transgenders and non-binaries who are grieving the loss of their person and feel overwhelmed by their ordinary daily existence to take small, bold, courageous steps towards moving forward with their lives while understanding and processing their loss and grief. Therese uses her experience as a meditation instructor and practitioner in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition for 47 years synergistically with her training as a NeuroGrief Coach and Trainer to bring a unique understanding of grief’s affect on the brain. In examining this we can understand how the brain on grief and loss can sabotage our mind’s clarity. Therese has been a student and practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism for 47 years and brings a lifetime of working with meditation to tame and train the mind into her work with people experiencing loss and grief. She combines a unique perspective in working with her clients by entwining her knowledge of meditation with her training as a Certified NeuroGrief & Loss Coach and Trainer.
