It is so important that everything you give must be driven from your heart and the result is a wonderful feeling. The fact that Paul warned against grudging or necessity giving should cause all to pay attention to how they give and for what purpose. How does one give grudgingly? The Greek word grudgingly is “lupe/lype” (Strong’s #3077). It means giving is done out of a cause that forces people’s hands. This results in grief and sorrow.
