Jolene Morgan is a sexy, smart young woman with a few problems. Abandonment issues, an over eating disorder, and a wanton sexuality. These are issues she desperately wants to keep to herself, so she discreetly chooses to satisfy her desires with an older married man at her work place. However, once Dalton Montgomery gets under her skin, she immediately dumps Travis, never realizing how dangerous the man is until it is too late. Situations began to spiral out of her control as she attempts to keep her eating disorder and sexual episodes with Travis a secret from Dalton.
Meanwhile Travis does the unthinkable out of revenge. Dalton is outraged and seeks to protect Jolene, whom he has fallen in love. His actions result in a tragedy that tears them apart. Jolene can't stand being without Dalton, she feels weak and betrayed. Dalton reveals a side of himself she never expected and deserts him in his time of need. Let down, they both wonder if their love can ever be rekindled.
