Tonya has been working on her research of the extinct Susquehanna who once dominated the Delmarva area. Her paper is sure to get her the scholarship. Camden is hoping for the scholarship to get out of being drafted onto the football team his father insists upon. He doesn't have a topic yet but he hopes for a miracle to happen during his internship.

The miracle is pretty miraculous. Partnered with Tonya, Camden comes to find out there is more to History than just books and research...especially when Tonya accidentally steps back in time and brings Confederate soldier, Jared Evansworth, from the Gettysburg Battlefield back to life.
Camden's Civil War paper has turned personal. He's made it his quest to research Jared's past and find out the truth. But he needs Tonya's help to find out why Jared is listed as a deserter in the history books and bring his name justice.

As Tonya finds out more about her talents, they conflict with her work as the souls of the past interfere with the present struggles of just getting her paper done. Camden has to face the wrath of his father when he tells them he didn't sign on for the varsity team and has gambled everything on his one chance at the History scholarship.
Now it's a race for time, personal growth and seeing how far their individual success will help them get where they need in the pursuit of their dream. But they're about to learn there are more important things than simple research papers when there are so many Unsettled Graves.
