Book Overview
Sometimes the only way to break the law is to become the law...
Growing up, Della channeled all her grief and rage into being a better gunslinger than The Kid. When she's arrested during an attempted train robbery, she almost abandons hope. To her surprise, she's recruited by a circuit judge at President Grover Clevelan... d's behest. She's tasked with infiltrating the U.S. Marshals and rooting out an agent turned trader. In exchange for her cooperation, Della is promised a full pardon and Pat Garrett's current location.
Her pa's murder taught her two things: never trust anyone and family is the most precious commodity in the world. These two lessons clash when she meets the Shade Outlaw. She and the Shade soon learn they have a common goal and decide to team up. Soon, Della's torn between the irresistible outlaw and her quest for vengeance while the Shade is determined to make Della his, no matter what it takes.read more
BIOGRAPHY L. D. Nash was born early one stormy November morning. A warrior at heart, she's only killed people on paper and dreams of becoming a ninja; an idea her husband will tell you is impossible considering her severe clumsiness. She began her writing career at the age of 14 and hasn't stopped since.
Never tell h... er that she can't do something, because she will do it twice and take pictures. She lives in the piney woods of Northern Louisiana with her gorgeous husband, two rowdy grandsons, and entirely too many dogs. Once a month she turns furry and chases her tail, but otherwise, she can be found firmly rooted on her sofa, watching Supernatural and living vicariously through her many female heroines.read more
