At twenty five, Amelia hasn’t met anyone she can love but is perfectly happy with her single life. Her brother Edward is not and plans to introduce her to eligible bachelors. Among them is Lord Talverson, who finds Amelia’s marriage portion a healthy answer to his money problems.
At a house party, the Earl of Wexley learns his old foe Talverson is manipulating the lovely heiress to wed. Wexley, whose temper is more than a match for the fiery Amelia, sets out to help her, despite the fact that the very independent Amelia has made it clear she doesn't want his help. What Wexley does not count on is a chase fraught with danger that Amelia presents.

BIOGRAPHY I love writing about strong, resourceful women in an age where it was thought that women were incapable of taking care of themselves and couldn't own property.
I started writing Regency romance novels as a hobby, and now that I am retired in Port Royal, SC, I am fortunate to be able call this my second career.
Kindle e-books have allowed me to grow as a writer. With each novel, I have made mistakes, but I have learned so much along the way. I enjoy reading my reviews and am thankful that my readers take the time to critique my novels. I am also a member of Romance Writers of America.
I currently live in beautiful Port Royal, SC with my husband.
