"Many small people, in many small places, do many small things that can alter the face of the world." -AnonymousHave you ever run a 69-mile marathon, run in the North Pole Marathon, walked non-stop for a day and a night, or cycled along the towpath of a canal for 130 miles? I know people who have! In fact, there are thousands of people prepared to raise money for charity through efforts such as these. Are you one of them? Here's a great way to record the story behind your decision to support your chosen charity. Write what you did, the amount you raised, and the story of those you helped. This JOURNAL and LOG BOOK can record training, sponsorship, and events. There's a space for the shoes you wear and even your "bucket list" of charity events. Will it be a Zombie Run, Machu Picchu or The New York Marathon?More than this, you can add photos and write your memories, which will become social and family history treasures for future generations. This is the perfect all in one Journal and Log Book, and a Memory Book to boot!A great gift for friends, family, colleagues and running group members of any age - from two to ninety-two (and above!)Are you up for the challenge?
BIOGRAPHY UK born, now living in Melbourne (Sometimes the World's most livable city!) Australia.
Mum, Volunteer, Author, Planner Creator, Fibro- Warrior.
Born in beautiful Northumberland, England; lived in Lancashire, Wearside, Kent, and Hertfordshire too. First teaching appointment was in the prettily-named pit-village of Shiney Row, during the Miner’s Strike. After moving to Kent - (The Garden of England) progressed to Deputy Head and Acting Headmistress of a wonderful village school before the birth of a son. Moved to Herts, teaching part-time Special Educational Needs kids. There are many places to associate with life in England - I loved every one, but Northumberland still feels like home.
When my husband's career brought us to Melbourne, Australia, it didn't seem like such a big deal. However, two years turned to four and then twenty! Now Melbourne feels like home too.
I enjoy volunteer work, have written biographies for patients in Palliative Care in the Home, and worked one day a week in a Day Oncology Wig Room. Writing is one of my passions, one that has followed me into adulthood from childhood, resulting in the books you will see here.
I'm now an avid Planner creator too. You'll find those on Etsy.
