      • This book was written over a two year period and I felt relieved when it was finally finished. I shared the story with a dear friend who screens my books for weaknesses or missing elements. She said I needed to re-write the first 1/3 of the book and to have a fresh opening. I was initially devastated, but when I followed her advice, the story exploded with amazing energy. The transition from the opening, to a reflected look back in time, as retold by the main character, then returning to the time frame of the book's opening, created a fresh perspective to the manuscript. My editor remarked that the book felt like a move playing inside her head and she loved it.

BIOGRAPHY
David Harder has been writing for more than twenty-five years. His novels are inspiring stories about individuals who influence their world in unique ways.

David grew up in southern California and served in the US Navy during the Vietnam conflict. For eight years, he lived and worked in Germany and traveled throughout Europe. Upon returning to America, he settled in northern California and during his career in the computer industry, David traveled the world for businesses with cutting-edge technologies in computer and data-storage. As part of his career, he wrote for trade journals and created marketing materials within the computer industry.

A graduate of San Jose College with a degree in business, David also studied at Santa Clara University towards a degree in international business.

David is a graduate of Vineyard Institute in biblical studies and leadership. He resides in the Prescott area of Arizona with his wife, Emily, and their border collie, Shiloh.

With an unique perspective on the life of Nicodemus, I believe David Harder did an excellent job with this novel. It was easy to immerse myself into the Biblical timeline and feel as though I was walking alongside them.
