The cowboy called the desk clerk’s bluff with a strip tease facing the wall. Denton knew he won the challenge of wills when Karl exhaled loudly upon viewing Denton’s naked groin. The question remained as to who was seducing whom as both men thoroughly enjoyed the subsequent sexual encounter.
Over time, the pair became romantically involved, a developing relationship put in jeopardy by the pending termination of the Pony Express delivery service due to westward expansion of the telegraph.
