Do you ever feel forgotten as a mom? This book was written for any mom who has ever felt “forgotten.” Stepmoms, foster moms, adoptive moms, moms with grown children, single moms, working moms—you fill in the blank. As a mom in a blended family myself, I have struggled to find an encouraging book that I could connect with as a mother. There are twenty-two encouraging messages for any mom who feels like she doesn’t belong. A Devotional for the Forgotten Mom provides short, inspirational messages aligned with God’s Word. So, grab a cup of coffee, and join me as we tackle this crazy, beautiful adventure through motherhood together.
BIOGRAPHY I am a veteran elementary school teacher who uses creativity and passion to motivate my students by any means possible. I have been known to dress up in costumes and transform my classroom into new worlds to help my students love to learn. I love coffee, movies, walking, dance, and spending time with my husband and kids, but, most of all, I love Jesus. I can identify with the roller coaster ride of motherhood and have journeyed through many loops, turns, and plummets along the way. I am a mom of a blended family and have often felt forgotten and discouraged in motherly roles. I have used my experiences, and what God has shown me throughout my journey, to encourage other moms that feel forgotten in motherhood. I have obeyed a call on my life to encourage, assist, inspire, and guide “The Forgotten Mom,” so that moms can become empowered to be the mother that God created them to be.
