It's nearly Christmas in London and Addie B. is waiting for her cousins Jack, Beanie and Bodie to arrive. While shopping with her mom in Chinatown, she meets a familiar friend from their second journey to the Garden of Choice. How did he get here, she wonders? Before she can get an answer, he entrusts Addie with a brilliant red stone and a letter from their dear friend Gemma. "You must return the stone to its rightful owner," the letter urges. Clues from Gemma lead Addie and her cousins to the British Museum and to a new gateway by way of The Ruby Lantern back to that magical land of Ambra. There, the cousins must find a way to return the ruby to its rightful place while facing dangers such as the Emerald Forest, the menacing flying Swirls and their powerful enemy Daiyu. They can only do it with the help of their friends, and their magical stones.
