The Darkness Within, which took ten years to complete, is a memoir of my journey with mental illness--in particular, clinical depression and PTSD. It covers the numerous obstacles I have faced--from uncaring institutions to bad relationships to personal loss to social media bullying--and tells of how I was able to overcome each of them. Readers are sure to relate to its positive message of redemption through perseverance.
