Life after school is a nonfiction series of Emmanuel Akpan that unveils the hardship and poor standard of living of young graduates in Africa after graduating from college.
Emmanuel is stranded in the city of Port Harcourt after his graduation from the university, he studied microbiology.
He has all it takes to occupy a good position in an international company but, the opportunity isn't there for him.
He lives a poor life in the city of Port Harcourt, his first degree isn't adding any value to his life, he starts working as a teacher in a private school but, later resigned from the job after the school couldn't pay his salary for months.
Emmanuel Akpan works as a labourer in a site for a while before he was hired as a security guard in a fast food restaurant.
He becomes fed up with the money he is receiving as a security guard, he got involved in stealing of the company property and was arrested.
BIOGRAPHY Namso Umoh is a Nigerian Author, born and raised in River State. He started his writing career when he was fourteen, he wrote articles and stories for the drama department of his local church. His first book is titled, “The You in You”, he had helped other young writers discover their potentials. He had been a good reader during his school days, he is a graduate from the University of Calabar Cross Rivers State Nigeria.
