My name is Ian and I am the author of Mr Thinkalot‘s Fantastic Space Journey, and Mr Thinkalot’s Spectacular Space Journey books. The character Mr Thinkalot was inspired by doc from the Back to the Future movies, they look nothing a like but personality wise they are very similar.
I have arthritis in my drawing hand which can sometimes make things difficult, but I have always tried my best. I also would like to thank anyone who faves or likes my books in advance. And also to anyone who faves, likes or share my books, I just want to give a big thank you for you‘re support. It really does mean a lot, and it gives me the drive to keep going so thank you.
I am on here to look at other peoples work, to get inspired. I like art in many forms, whether you are a professional or beginner, whether it’s traditional drawing or digital art. I also enjoy seeing others photography and crafts and anything that’s creative, I don’t look for perfection I look for creativity and imagination.
I had never written a book before, Mr Thinkalot 1 was my first. I thoroughly enjoyed it, I really had a blast writing it. I also illustrated the book.
I wish I was able to afford a drawing tablet for Mr T 1 but at the time, it just wasn’t a option. So everything was hand drawn on paper. It was also the first thing I had drawn in over 15 years due to arthritis in my drawing hand, amongst other health problems so I was happy with the results.
Even though I wish I had a drawing tablet, the publisher and I agreed that the pictures tell the story well, it is aimed at children so we where happy to go ahead.
I aim to get better at everything I do, writing books and drawing is all new to me, drawing tablets and software is also new to me.
I was able to purchase a drawing tablet with my royalties and use this for Mr Thinkalot 2, again with tight deadlines I did my best and was happy with the results, and I see it as a improvement on 1, however I am very proud of both books.
A great deal of work went into both of them. It would be fantastic for people to read them, and share there feedback or reviews. It has been very positive from many in varied age groups, so I am happy about that.
I have had messages from grandparents who have read the books to there grandchildren, saying how informative, fun and educational it is. Others have said it is a fast paced sci-fi space adventure, couldn’t be happier.
Mr T 3 will be the final in the series, I believe that after book 3 children will understand climate change and global warming, it’s a complex topic that needed to be broken down over more than 1 book. But book 3 will wrap it all up and explain the topics that have not yet been mentioned.

I hope to improve on everything I do, I have another story that I am hoping to release, but that all depends on how things go. This adventure is a fruit and vegetable adventure, they all have human names and live complicated fruit vegetable lives, they get into so much bother. But will they achieve there dreams and be what they want to be? This book will teach basic food nutrition. |
