Thriller Suspense Mystery BIOGRAPHY
Hi, I live in Adelaide, South Australia, and I'm the author of two mystery suspense thrillers - Lethal Legacy and Deadly Secrets. They are dark mysteries with a dash of political intrigue, a sprinkling of organized crime and corruption, and mature amateur women sleuths.
My short stories have been published in UK ... and Australian anthologies, and UK, Canadian, and US magazines.
My working life spanned a public service career with roles as diverse as Management Trainer, Team Facilitator, Statistician, and Laboratory assistant. Before that, I worked as a retail assistant, babysitter, dog kennel employee, and worker in an electronic factory. It's a good foundation for writing my kind of stories.
After taking early retirement, I spent time developing my creative writing skills through short courses and a Graduate Certificate in Creative Writing from Adelaide University. Growing up, I was more of a science nerd - my first degree is a Bachelor of Science (majoring in Chemistry).
My other passions are traveling, (which inspires scene settings for my novels. I write a travel journal and take copious photos. I also love live theatre, art, and of course, reading. read more |
