BIOGRAPHY Leslie had a career in acting before she went back to school to become a teacher. She is passionate about children, specialized in special education, has MAT and has taught in grades 3-11.
She wrote her book, "Education Aggravation: A Retired Teacher's View from the Trenches - A Call to Action" after she retired because she feels that politicians, parents, even some teachers are focused on everything but the students.
Following a bout with cancer and chemo shortly after she published, Leslie has begun to write again and hopes to have another book out by the end of the year.
