She has recently branched into the fantasy genre as well and enjoys going where the characters take her. Aside from writing, Courtney loves spending time with her husband, Kevin, a United States Air Force veteran, homeschooling her two boys, Grant and Lincoln, and enjoying the simple things in life, like a cup of dark roast in the morning.
