BIOGRAPHY Azaan Kamau is a writer, photographer, builder of miniature homes and publisher! She has a diverse mix of charm, intellect, creativity and spirituality. In The midst of all of that, Azaan remains approachable, modest and quite grounded to the people and things that matter. Azaan’s optimistic attitude has set her on a path for empowerment of for all people and creeds.
While trying to navigate her personal life, her demanding career, Azaan is quite focused on uplifting and empowering others through poetry, publishing, photography, screen writing and even broadcast media.

After falling in love with writing, her goal is to give voice to people and topics that have been muted or swept under the rug or even ignored by mainstream society. Azaan’s work and commitment has given her a distinguished literary reputation.
Azaan's passion for writing began in the early 1980’s! Since then, Azaan has been published in countless publications, and has written numerous volumes of poetry that shock, awe and inspire!
Azaan built her company by hand, one exhausting brick at a time back in the year 2000 with the help of her mentors. To this day, Azaan and her company Glover Lane Press have published and designed numerous books on various topics, which include eBooks! In addition to Azaan’s publishing career, Azaan is a poet, photographer and print media designer that has won several awards!
