BIOGRAPHY

After a rewarding and gruelling 36-year career in Mental Health within the UK National Health Service, I retired to treat writing as my full-time passion. My background opened my eyes to the deeper, darker sides of human nature, which now heavily influences the depth and authenticity of my characters. Originally from Huddersfield, I love mixing rich British history and real-world locations—like London and Pluckley—with the supernatural.
My books are a unique blend of humorous paranormal mysteries, cosy ghost stories, and atmospheric historical fiction. I don't write blood and gore; instead, I focus on hauntings, historical intrigue, and a healthy dose of British humour meant to make you smile (and occasionally shed a tear).
