      • For my part, lately I've been very intrigued by novels that have stories-within-stories. I'm working on something right now that weaves a few threads like this together, and I'm having fun with it - but 'm having to experiment to get the right balance and flow!

      • I am always deeply energized by the first spark of an idea for a new story. The series of "what ifs" that it leads to can be exhilarating. I also love those moments when the clock seems to disappear and your fingers are flying over the keyboard trying to keep up with your thoughts - it doesn't happen every day, but when it does it's a great feeling! (I guess I just name two favourite things...)

      • My intention in writing this book was to give writers METHOD, MOMENTUM and MOTIVATION as they write their novels. I'm curious which three words others would pick!
