I started writing as part of a mental health/chronic pain treatment program where expressive writing was a method for uncovering and addressing emotions and it worked in helping me resolve over 30 years of chronic migraines. Then January 2020 and the epidemic (soon to be pandemic) came along and I was suddenly in quarantine with lots of time on my hands. I turned my attention to something healthy and I started writing and illustrating creatively daily. It’s a fun journey learning new skills and getting connected with the online writing community.
