      • I think having friends and family, as well as people I've met online, lining up for the next book and calling u to ask if it's available yet. I love that the stories I write make people want to come back for more. How about you?

        • I was inspired to write by my love for fantasy and the need to create emotional, transformative stories. I'm passionate about characters who grow through pain, and the support from readers keeps me motivated every day.
I write in the genres of fantasy, romantic fantasy, dark fantasy, and paranormal romance, often drawing inspiration from mythology. My stories blend emotional depth, slow-burn romance, and rich, immersive worlds.

And you what genre of books did you write in?

          • Paranormal fantasy romance. One series features shape shifters. The other paranormal abilities. And my stand alone books by Sultonna Nadine usually deal with some sort of magic.

    • Congratulations, Sultonna Nadine!

I'd like to extend my warmest congratulations on the release of your new book, "Whiskey Jug Genie"! It's exciting to see this unique and captivating fantasy story hit the shelves.

I'm particularly drawn to the premise of a genie trapped in a whiskey jug for centuries. How did you come up with this idea, and what inspired you to create the character of Bubba?

I'm also curious about the setting of the story in modern-day London. How did you balance the fantastical elements of the genie with the mundane aspects of everyday life in the city?

What do you hope readers will take away from "Whiskey Jug Genie", and what's next for you in terms of writing projects?

I wish you all the best with your book and look forward to hearing more about your future projects!

      Best regards,
      Lisa Deborah

      • The original idea was actually my husband's. We found an old whiskey jug in an outbuilding when we bought our property. It has been collecting dust in a back room since then. One day he noticed it and had read or seen something recently about genies. The idea popped into his head about a redneck genie trapped in a whiskey jug. He thought it would make a fun story and shared the idea with me. And I let my imagination take it from there.

One of the things I like to do in my writing is bring bits of the paranormal or magical into real life, as if they are a normal part of life. Having a genie so far out of touch with the world seemed like a fun idea.

I also have two series written as Mellie Miller and another stand alone by Sultonna. The Gambler's Folly series features shifters on a fantasy vacation world. The Esperance series features paranormal abilities of various sorts on a more rustic world. Both series are fantasy romance.

Sultonna has another book in editing set in an alternate reality of Victorian England. Working title Lady Calloway, paranormal abilities also come into play.

I hope to give people a break from the stress of their current reality and help them look for the magic around them in this world we live in.

        Thank you!

        • That's fascinating! I love how your husband's idea sparked your creativity, and you wove a captivating story around it.

You have a diverse range of works across different genres and series. After editing is complete, what's your plan for Lady Calloway? Do you have a release date in mind or a strategy for sharing it with your audience?

Also, I'd love to help you brainstorm ideas for the cover design! Would you be open to collaborating on that?
