      • It's what attract readers. A bad cover, a lousy title, and you lose readers. Or even attract the incorrect ones if the cover doesn't hint at your content.

      • I am gifted with having so many ideas I don't know how to write them all. But I did experience it once, and knowing it doesn't exist as such being a consequence and not a cause, I took a break from writing and that helped.

      • Oh I do! The positive ones are the voice that keeps whispering, "don't give up, continue". I used to cry with the bad ones but now I shrugged them off. Thankfully those are in the minority.

      • It's actually quite interesting and I love writing male characters. I try to make them as real as possible and I know I've succeeded when my husband approves :) But the most difficult part is when there are a bunch of male characters together.

      • I used to rely on a group of critiquers, all writers, but now I rely on my amazing editor. I still share stories with a couple of writing friends, who give me honest feedback and help me to be a better writer.

      • I started writing in college but stopped for over two decades! I took to writing once in my 40's because little people kept banging on my head, demanding to be heard. So I wrote their stories.

      • Don't listen to everything out there. Don't try to do everything that you see out there. It can be incredibly draining. Stick to a couple of things you can do, and manage those, then pick another two, and so forth.

      • It brings me to tears. This is such a difficult path, so when I see a review, a post, anything, it makes me want to keep on. I know this sounds corny, but it's the air I breathe.
