I know that old saying don't judge a book by its cover but I do. I am a visual learner and if I see a book cover that catches my eye I am more apt to want to check it out.
I do read my book reviews because I want to know what my readers liked or didn't like about my book. It helps me to grow as a writer if I know my audience.
I would tell myself to follow my dreams right away instead of waiting until later in life to pursue them like I did. I wish I would have had the confidence to keep writing instead of putting it off.
