I can't write every day like so many authors report to. Friday is dedicated to writing for me. I give myself permission to do nothing else on that day but write and let my other responsibilities wait.
So much! My first book (The Obsession) is based on a stalker experience I had when I was in the military. The Lady Tigers series is about a girls' fastpitch softball team. I played softball since I was 9, then coached, umpired, and kept score for my girls' teams. Of course, three of my nonfiction books are short stories about different times in my life.
I LOVE IT! But it's still so unreal. I'm overjoyed every time someone responds to my newsletter or stops me in the store because they've read one of my books. It's even a bigger thrill when they roll up to my signing and ask to purchase anything new I have on my table. :)
