What’s been the most rewarding part of your writing journey so far?
Hello Karl. Thanks for contacting me. How many of my books have you read, and which one did you like best? I began writing about ten years ago when I decided I could do as well or better than many of the writers who filled their books with bad language and dysfunctional characters. I've been pleased and gratified by many reviews that stress their appreciation of the absence of bad language in my books.

I'm Judith Hermann, I love connecting with fellow writers it’s always fascinating to hear how others found their way into storytelling. How did your writing journey begin?
It began with NORTHERN LIGHTS, a fictional biographical novel set in northern Minnesota during the tail end of the great depression. The book is a novel but is loosely based on the experience of my family.
I recently came across your work, and I was really struck by your storytelling — especially how your books focus on ordinary, relatable characters navigating life’s ups and downs with heart and humanity.
