Camille and Jackson met when she started going to college and was his sisters roommate. Over the years they became close and both had feelings for each other but they buried it. Jackson makes himself into a party animal because he couldn't have the one woman he wanted so he went for the complete opposite of Camille. Camille just tried to find someone she loved but they seemed to stick. Until Jackson saw Camille's heart trampled on and he stepped in and made a move. Their love story unfolds from this point on. It is kind of rocky but seems to even out. There were so many secrets in this book with crazy twists. It made it exciting to read. I liked the book. It was sweet in its own way. In this emotional novel, Camille makes a decision as a young woman to preserve her friendship with Jackson at all costs, even if it does mean denying the electric charge that sizzles between them. Jackson, on the other hand, has been biding his time until Camille is ready to accept that the connection between them is more than being best friends. After facing an embarrassing breakup, Jackson takes a chance and admits his feelings for Camille. However, there are just too many assumptions and misconceptions to wade through for the couple to make that final decision, despite their feelings for one another. The last quarter of the book escalates to a surprising culmination of exposures that neither Camille nor Jackson suspected. The storyline and writing style are good, carrying the reader from one scene to the next. I personally found myself skipping over the abundance of bedroom scenes and at times found the flashbacks to the past a bit disruptive. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable read with a happy conclusion. Loved the story is told. With out being annoying or boring their love is explained with a past to present flashback through out which I loved, it's different and you feel like you know the struggles Cammy and Jackson went through. I would read the others in the series I have found a new author to add to my collection. The Book Worm Fairy xx
