About this ebook

A new standalone romantic psychological thriller, from the author of the Falling Small Duet.

Love stories don't usually start with tripping over a dead body.

But mine did. That's when I met him.

I never thought taking pictures in the woods would be dangerous. Nothing ever happened that far out in no man's land. But when I stumbled upon a dead body and a man with a mysterious accent, I knew I was in over my head.

Sometimes, choices aren’t simple. Sometimes, things aren’t as they seem. And now, I can’t tell if he’s my savior, or if I’m his prisoner.

When your only choice is the devil you know or the devil you don’t…

How do you choose when it’s not just your life but your heart on the line too?

**This book contains adult language and graphic sexual situations.**

After Rebel’s debut novels the Falling Small Duet, I fell immensely captivated by her superb writing style. I fell in love with her dark and brilliant mind. With Snapshot, she had undoubtedly proven herself once again. While the Falling Small Duet had me on the edge of my seat page by page by page, Snapshot had this thrillingly calm pace which will leave you spinning and digging for more of the story. It's a mixture of eerie and obscure and sweet. And I love that the characters on this one are as real as they can be! At some point, it became a bit slow and predictable, but my god, that ending!!! Who would've thought there was a bomb waiting to explode at the last chapters?! That was another awesome twist to this huge tangle of events in Rebel's crazy world and I could not wait to find out where all this madness and mystery is heading. Absolutely hooked! Rebel is definitely one of those authors you can easily get addicted to because she writes stories so brilliantly and wickedly and the world she takes you to will haunt you forever. Not to mention her humility and authenticity as a person is outstanding. An absolute favorite author no doubt.

A snapshot only catches things as they are for that one moment in time. It can be good or bad, it just is what it is. You never know until it happens. Rosie had no idea that taking a picture could come to mean so much. . . but it did. In that moment her world flipped and was never the same. He was intrigued. It had never hit him like that before and he wanted to explore that tingle that she made him feel. He didn't understand the draw. Intrigue, action, a whole twisted mess that turned and changed them both. Lies and distortions, death, confusion, longing this book has it all. Two people that didn't think they would ever have love, acceptance and all that comes with it. They both find out so much about themselves and Rosie finds out that love and friendship are more than skin deep. Awesome read. I personally was ok that the story was more than just romance. The action and twist just kept coming and I loved every bit of it. I haven't read much of her work but I have enjoyed everything I have read!!!

I can definitely say Rebel Ferris is becoming a favorite author and this book is another great treat. I loved the pace and that it was a bit different from the Small Duet books. The characters feel as true to life as if there is a way to meet them in life just like that and maybe even ask them for their story. The style is so visual that it is easy to just be in the story and the twists are really to die for. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

About the author

Rebel Farris is a country girl who’s spent far too much time in an urban setting. A gentle, pure soul, who can’t speak a word without dropping f-bombs or dripping sarcasm everywhere. She was born and raised in Texas, living a mostly nomadic life before settling down in Austin. When she's not busy being a workaholic, writing the next dark story that fills her twisted mind, she can be found hanging with her three minions and two pups, Thugg Dog and King Pin.
