Fairy princesses and elves are just what little girls love. Add to that the colorful pictures and you have a book that will be a favorite. The issue of starting school and the fears associated with that is addressed in a cute way. M.J. Evans, Award-Winning author of "PERCY-The Racehorse Who Didn't Like to Run"
Super cute children’s book about going to preschool. It takes the kids worries and turns them into fun things they get to do when they go! I loved the illustrations.

The first thing to make an impression should always be the cover of a book and this one is very eye-catching. I like that the characters are of different races and abilities. The first part of the book threw me a little because I hadn't read any of the other books. But as Granny was given her magic wand and summoned to the queen I began to like it better. Granny picked up the Tooth Fairy on her way to the Fairy Queen. The illustrations were wonderful.
When the baby elves told Granny and the Tooth Fairy, the two fairies put together a "Get To Do" list. The little ones could see what fun adventures they will have in pre-school. What a wonderful idea--a "Get To Do" list instead of a list of don'ts!
This is a great book for a child who is a bit apprehensive about leaving home for the first time. It's also good for those children who can't wait to get there. It's important that children know that everyone doesn't feel the same way about leaving home for the first time.
A sweet and educational story about a group of three children in the Fairy Kingdom, who declare, "I don't want to go to preschool." The Fairy Queen will ask Wickers to go to Granny---a former fairy, turned human--for help.
Granny, aka Lula Pix, will accept her wand and fly to get the Tooth Fairy, Gwen. Together, they visit the children and explain the New Adventures and experiences they will have in Preschool.

Children have reservations, just like adults about trying something new. It will be with the guidance of two fairies to show these children that there is nothing to fear and only good things to gain.
The story is fun to read and nicely illustrated.
I won a copy of this book during a Goodreads giveaway. I am under no obligation to leave a review or rating and do so voluntarily. I am paying it forward by passing this book along to a family member who I think will enjoy it too.
A lovely little tale about being scared to start school, and how this can be overcome when someone shows you the fun you can have instead. The story also shows what a good feeling it is to be wanted and helpful to others. The diversity of the characters and the colorful illustrations can be a favorite for young girls just starting out in school.
Leaving home for the first time isn't easy. And, of course, every kid feels differently about it but for all this new experience is an emotional moment in their lives. What I mean to say is, that this book really gives the variety of emotions the kids are feeling and shows to the little readers that is okay to feel in any way that you feel. I loved it!
Fun to read, great illustrations and full of adventures. The book is well written, with captivating characters and so magical that even a grown up like me wants to go back and start pre school now. Great read!
A sweet story with wonderful message! I love when children books are fun and in a way help parents with great life lessons and advice. This book is exactly this.
I Don't Want to Go to Preschool, the Fairy Queen Calls by Cynthia Kern OBrien is a nice story with great characters and a lot of magic. My kiddo enjoyed it and so did I.
I Don't Want to Go to Preschool, the Fairy Queen Calls is a fantastic book that can be of great help to the little students-to-be who are afraid of this crucial step. I recommend it.
