Great question! Aja is my given name and I had trouble deciding whether I would use my married or maiden name when I published. Then I was challenged with whether I wanted a pen name. A friend of mine pointed out that my name, my first name was pretty and perfect so I went with it to end the standoff. I'm sorry you have a hard time finding me! Are you following me on social media anywhere or maybe subscribed to my newsletter? It might be a way to see exactly what's going on with me when goodreads fails you.
