The Dragon's Tear Chronicles: Of Dark Ones And Dragons

5 STARS - READER'S FAVORITE RATING (Rated April 2021)

A demon-backed necromancer hunts a powerful source of magic. Can an alliance of strangers defeat evil before they're all destroyed?""Yes, she is the one," he thought to himself as he silently watched her from the shadows.

It had been more than thirty-five years ago, when Ramos, a dark magic user, had approached the Gypsy clan leaders requesting their assistance to end the invasion of the Dark Ones in their world of Sheukhawn. Danior had been one of the Gypsies that had offered to help him in this quest. Ramos created a magic seal and used the blood of a young Gypsy girl. The seal closed a rift between Sheukhawn and Lunaria's shadow world where the goddess Saressa had cast the Dark Ones.

And now the seal was weakening, and Danior, its guardian, had found a potential new source of blood so Ramos could replace it.

Interesting story idea. A few interesting minor characters. The horse had a funny line or two and the half life woman. The main chsracters were flat. The villian always moaning about his iplans.the great warrior was rather bad in battle. I had mixed feelings. Gave it 3 * because I kept reading anyway.

Wow!

Great characters, great story. I made excuses to stop and read. Extremely easy to get into the story, hard to stop reading but easy to fall back into the story. Very impressed with this book and can't wait to read more from this author

I enjoyed this novel quite a bit more than I honestly expected to! Well written, good story line, and the author left the world(s) rather open for further storyline. Looking forward to the next installment!

My thanks to the author and publisher for the giveaway!
